Fragestellung
Welche Kompetenzen muss ein Europäischer Masterstudiengang "Erwachsenenbildung" angesichts einer sich internationalisierenden Erwachsenenbildung vermitteln?
Projektziel
Im Projekt wird ein Europäischer Masterstudiengang "Erwachsenenbildung" in einem Netzwerk von europäischen Partnerhochschulen entwickelt und implementiert.
Ausgangslage
Im zusammenwachsenden Europa internationalisiert sich die Erwachsenenbildung zunehmend. Hierdurch ändert sich auch das von Weiterbildner/inne/n benötigte Kompetenzprofil. Bestehende Weiterbildungsstudiengänge tragen dem bisher nur unzureichend Rechnung.

The aim of the project is to develop an English-language European Master’s degree in Adult Education (EMAE) within a network European partner universities. Current partners are the universities of Barcelona, Copenhagen, Duisburg-Essen, Florence, Helsinki, Kaiserslautern, Ostrawa and Timisoara. The target group are students of education with a BA (or equivalent), and professionals in adult education who want to add a European dimension to their formation or professional profile. The main output is a a common core curriculum for a European Master's degree programme in Adult Education. All modules (e.g. theoires of AE, didactics/methodology of AE, AE management) will include a European dimension. This means both a comparative perspective on national approaches and the analysis of policy developments at EU level. Besides these theoretical aspects the students will acquire practical experience in transnational project work. The core curriculum will be jointly developed within the partner network in a transnational dialogue, where those responsible for the project in the partner universities will collaborate with a group of experts. At the end of the project the modules will have been piloted and evaluated.
